Whilst important, your Resume is only one part of securing a job. A good resume is one which tells the employer in no more than a few pages, the specific experience and accomplishments a person has had in their career to date. Make sure it is neat, professional in appearance, and easy to read. Keep the layout uncluttered and basic, and include an introduction which summarises your background, experiences and technical competencies. Be sure to emphasise your key selling points, (e.g speaks 4 languages or was a top billing salesperson).

Keep It realistic! Overstating your skillset could leave a bad impression on an interviewer who may know more about the technology than you do. It is also recommended that you do not put your references on your resume. Wait until asked to supply them.
